David K. Brown
Was Chief Constructor for the Admiralty Experiment works and, on promotion to Assistant Director, became Head of Ship Design Policy. He has read many papers on warship design; is a member of the Council of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects; on the Council of the Navy Records Society and has been a frequent contributor of the publication Warship.
