Antony Preston
Antony Preston was born in England in 1938. Educated at King Edward VII School and the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa he returned to Engand to become a Research Assistant in charge of Admiralty records at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. He has written Send a Gunboat, V and W Destroiyers, Battleships of the World War I, Submarines, Navies of the American Revolution, An Illustrated History of the Navies of World War II, Destroyers and U - Boats, was co - translartor of the Warships of the Japanese Navy 1868 - 1945, and author of The World's Worst Warships.
